Project Examples
Requirements
In this first year psychology class, students will produce a visual advertisement for use on the TTC, either as a banner advertisement on a subway car or bus, or a larger bus-stop add. As part of their mental health module, they will create materials that support your organization's goals and increase awareness of mental health topics in the community.
Organizations that could be a good fit include, but are not limited to:
- The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health
- Toronto-area hospitals
- Youth Mental Health Canada
- Stella's Place
- Griffin Centre
This is a large class, where up to 400 students may be completing the original project. This means it can be a great way for your organization to build awareness on campus, and attract future donors and volunteers.
To keep the time commitment manageable for a participating partner, students will be assessing each others' work and providing only the top submissions on to your organization for your feedback, and potential use.
