Working with Ember and Wren on this project was an excellent experience for the team and me. We learn many things about gut health and how to do marketing research in the Canadian market. Before, we did not know much about the wellness coaching industry, but after we worked on it, we understand a lot about it. The founder, Dana, is very passionate and helpful. She gives us information and ideas about how she wants her company to grow and always gives feedback quickly and clearly. Our team has some challenges in doing deep analysis because it is not easy to get data about gut health trends in Calgary, but we use many reports and find valuable insights. SWOT and PESTEL help us think more clearly about the risk and opportunity. We also think about how to help the company cheaply because startups do not have big budgets. This project helped me understand how small businesses think about the market, clients, and services. Working with real clients puts us under pressure and allows us to learn well. I appreciate this chance and am am happy to see our work help Dana to start a successful business. Overall, it was a meaningful learning experience.
