The BC Hospice Palliative Care Association is a open not-for-profit, membership organization, which has been representing individuals and organizations committed to promoting and delivering hospice
palliative care to British Columbians for over 34 years. Our members provide a broad range of hospice palliative care programs
and services to people in need across the province of BC and the Yukon who are dying, their loved ones who are grieving and caregivers. The services hospice societies deliver are accessible to all, regardless of the type of illness, age, sex, sexual orientation, race, culture and religious beliefs.

Research and Resources Data Entry

Our association has access to and keepers of many papers and articles that need library and source mapping. Among these papers are resources detailing our sector's findings from, databases, research etc We would like to collaborate with students in the data entry and record filing system. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our database structure. Transferring data into our databases efficiently. Verifying the accuracy of the data in our databases and making relevant updates. Be able to field information via a Tableau (or equivalent) for live reporting information Organizing and retrieving data as requested and updating new ones on our membership website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Providing assistance in creating new databases and process mapping protocol.

Website Development - Update

Positions available: 3 ( teams or individually) We are searching for a Website Designer(s) to be able to build and rebrand our existing public and membership websites that currently live on WildApricot. The successful web designer's duties incorporate the conception process, which includes a landing page to membership website building. We would like a new website feel for our organization that integrates with our membership database. Students should be prepared to: Conduct a review of our sites to determine process mapping and flow suitable for a members-based non-profit organization. Make site design/UI by utilizing standard HTML/CSS rehearses and the WildApricot Widgets Coordinate information from different back-end app and data sets Accumulate and refine particulars and necessities dependent on specialized requirements Incorporate designs being made in Canva to make site look nicer Build a fully-functioning and interactive website.
