The role of the Business Analyst or Information Technology Consultant is often critical to increasing project success rates.

Many organization face the challenges of developing information into knowledge, and then converting that intelligence into actionable decisions. Organizations demand the interdisciplinary skills of professionals that can find insights through data, and are capable of telling stories about data that can assist decision makers across various business divisions.
Business and Systems Analysis students focus on transforming business needs into functional logic so that software or digital products can be developed, configured, and implemented. More and more, we see students applying these skills to support domains/technologies such as Digital Product Management, Analytics, Robotics Process Automation, etc.
Your company can be part of a project by accepting to assign a task to a multidisciplinary team of students for a term of 14 weeks.
Students will employ the following tools, resources and skills as part of the completion of their industry project:
- Apply the best practices, tools, and techniques for conducting business analysis activities.
- Determine the appropriate techniques to utilize for the type of requirements being elicited and business analysis activities being performed.
- Explain concepts of the lifecycles for business process redesign and systems development and the business analyst’s role within the lifecycle.
- Plan business analysis activities to determine the appropriate deliverables for a development project.
- Use requirements models to prepare business analysis deliverables.
