SCMT2998: Strategic Supply Chain Solutions (Capstone projects)
This experience is designed for learners in a capstone course focused on Business Administration with a specialization in Supply Chain Management. The Capstone Project is the culminating experience of the program. Working in teams, students engage with partner organizations to tackle real business problems. They apply tools and frameworks learned across 20 specialized courses to deliver: End-to-end supply chain analysis Process improvement recommendations grounded in Lean, Six Sigma, and quality management Data-backed decision-making using Excel, Power BI, and other digital tools Interactive dashboards and visual reporting to support operational transparency Full project documentation and a professional client presentation

Product Lifecycle & Obsolescence Analysis for August Electronics
Students will: Receive and analyze datasets (usage history, part numbers, manufacturer details). Research lifecycle status using manufacturer websites, databases, and tools. Flag risks (end-of-life, long lead times, limited stock). Suggest viable alternatives or replacements. Deliver findings in a structured report (e.g., Power BI dashboard, inventory analysis).
