SS5W81 – Education Research & Support
SS5W81
LMU's second-year Education students bring with them the skills and knowledge gained in their first year of study, including research methods, policy analysis, inclusive education strategies, and resource development. They are confident in presentations, visual communication, content creation, and adapting learning materials. Students can support organisations with projects such as curriculum design, EAL/ESL resources, inclusion and SEND initiatives, policy research, and educational programme development, while gaining valuable professional experience.
SH5W51 – Health and Social Care
SH5W51
These Health and Social Care students are in their 2nd year of undergraduate study, bringing a strong mix of academic knowledge and practical experience. They have developed skills in research, public health, and human sciences, with exposure to labs, live research, and ethical decision-making. Many also have hands-on experience as care assistants, nurses, or in residential care settings, alongside transferable skills gained through retail and customer-facing roles.
