Main Goal:

The primary objective of the Wouessi TenderTech project is to design and implement a streamlined, tech-driven solution to optimize the entire tender management process. Students will research, analyze, and reimagine the existing tender workflows at Wouessi Digital, focusing on enhancing efficiency, automation, and ease of use. In addition to the technical solution, students will develop key procurement documentation such as RFPs and RFQs to ensure the process is compliant and aligned with best industry practices. The project will culminate in the presentation of a fully developed solution that addresses current challenges while improving overall business operations.

Project scope and expectations:

During this project, students will be tasked with developing a comprehensive digital solution to enhance the tender management process. Their main deliverables will include research on industry best practices, analyzing Wouessi's current tender workflow, and proposing a tech-driven system to streamline bidding, tracking, and submission processes. By clearly defining the scope, students can grasp the project's depth and requirements, ensuring they can meet expectations within the designated timeframe of 60 hours, spread over 2–8 weeks.

Project Details:

Task 1: Research & Analysis of Current Tendering System

Students will begin by studying the existing tender management system at Wouessi Digital, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for digital innovation. This will include analyzing workflows, key pain points, and stakeholder needs.

Task 2: Proposal Development for a Streamlined System

Based on research findings, students will propose a digital solution for optimizing the tendering process, considering factors such as automation, user interface improvements, and integration with existing systems.

Task 3: Procurement Documentation Creation

Students will be responsible for drafting procurement documentation, such as requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and tender evaluation matrices. This will ensure that the tender process is structured, compliant, and effective.

Task 4: Design & Presentation of the Solution

Students will design a basic prototype or detailed wireframe of the proposed system. They will present their solution to the Wouessi team, ensuring that it meets the identified needs and is feasible within the company’s existing infrastructure.

Deliverable 1: Research Report

A detailed report summarizing the analysis of the current tendering system, including findings and recommendations for improvement.

Deliverable 2: Digital Solution Proposal

A comprehensive proposal document that outlines the solution design, including key features, potential challenges, and a plan for implementation.
