Data Analysis Research Assistant
The project necessitates proficiency in computer programming and skills for qualitative data analysis, interpretation, and visualizing findings. A background in coding is essential, as is the ability to categorize qualitative data for applying statistical methods, particularly with non-numeric attributes. Proficiency in engaging with qualitative data to extract meaningful insights, identify trends, and discover correlations is a critical requirement. The project's culmination will be a paper underpinned by supporting visualizations and statistical evidence.
Application for educational tools – Phase 3
We would like to invite a team of students to work on a project that is partially developed using React, MongoDB, and Meteor Js framework. The project is composed of several phases. This is project is composed of several educational tools. Currently, we will need to enhance the current code and add some features to one of the educational tools. We would like to work with students to develop this web-based application. Students should: Have good experience in React, MongoDB, and Meteor Js. Good understanding of Docker. Be ready to work in a team. Ability to work in a team, prepare documentation and good in communication. Will be required to sign an Intellectual Property Rights Agreement. Ready to present previous work that they have done. Scope of Phase 3: Focuses on preparing the code of setting the main structure for a game editor.
Level- UP - MacEwan- Tutorial videos for Datasets application -4
We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. The aim of this project is to create promotional videos and tutorials for a group of web-based educational tools. We need a team of students to capture, edit and create promotional videos and tutorials for those educational tools. The project is composed of two new phases. Phase 3: Capture, edit and create promotional videos, in addition to some tutorial videos Phase 4: Capture, edit and create tutorial videos for the applications. We will provide guidance to all students.

Level UP- MacEwan: Data sets creation - Winter 2024
We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. The project is a project that is developing a web-based application to generate synthetic datasets for students. The application is to create datasets either based on tools actual data provided by the user, or the user can create their own customized data sets. The application creates a unique dataset for each studentinstructor, allows the isntructor to create queries, and then marks the students' submissions. The project is composed of three phases. Phase 1: Creation of synthetic datasets. Phase 2: Develop a customization process for creating the datasets. Phase 3: Developing a dataset test bank. Phase 4: Creating a query builder for the instructor. Phase 5: Develop a process to mark the student's answers to the query. We will provide guidance to all students.

Unplugging Potential: Exploring the Factors Impeding Electric Vehicle Adoption Across the Canadian Provinces
Over 80% of global energy consumption comes from fossil fuels, and the transportation sector is the biggest consumer. More than 25% of Canada's greenhouse gas emissions originate from transporting goods and people. Consequently, achieving a substantial decline in greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector is imperative for meeting national and provincial climate reduction targets. Electric vehicles possess the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions substantially. Nevertheless, the adoption of electric vehicles in Canada has been comparatively lower compared to most other developed nations, like Norway, Iceland, the Netherlands, and the United States. In this context, the research aims to achieve the following objectives: Identify the challenges impeding the widespread adoption of electric vehicles in Canada, drawing insights from experiences in other countries. Conduct a comparative analysis of the government policies to promote electric vehicle adoption across different provinces in Canada and their effectiveness.
