They will conduct examinations of planning methods from needs assessment, through to program design. A heavy emphasis will be placed on strategic planning strategies.

Elevate your organization in the public health sector with the assistance of undergraduate and graduate-level student interns from National University (NU). Our program offers a diverse group of working adult students who bring valuable skills to enhance your public health related practices. Collaborate with our interns who possess knowledge across the specializations of Health Promotion, Community Mental Health, and Healthcare Administration, where they will work remotely on a main project or smaller initiatives for 8-12 weeks. Important Note: We accept projects on a rolling basis as student cohorts become available.

Gain access to graduate capstone student consultants from National University's MA in Strategic Communications program. During this experience, students will apply their expertise in real-world scenarios, working on a strategic communication project tailored to your organization’s needs. Throughout 4-6 weeks students will collaborate virtually, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to your project requirements. Students in this program gain an in-depth understanding and practical application of strategic communication management. The focus is on developing, sustaining, and leveraging communication strategies across various platforms to achieve organizational goals. The program covers communication research, campaign development, and management, highlighting their importance for today's communication professionals. Specific topic areas include applications of strategic communication campaigns, audience engagement, message development, persuasion, communication effectiveness, and contemporary strategies for maintaining communication relevance in the digital age.

Students are in a 400 level Brand Management course within a BS in Marketing program and need to complete a Brand Audit. The course explores brand development along with sustaining and leveraging brands in the marketplace. The course introduces brand research, brand development, and brand management and the importance for the modern marketer. Specific topic areas include brand management history, brand awareness, brand equity, and contemporary brand-sustaining strategies in the digital age.

The National University Cybersecurity department is looking to build ongoing relationships with employers. We are proud to be recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA) as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense through 2028. Projects that we'd like to match with generally fall within these 3 categories: Diagnose vulnerabilities through pen testing, thread analysis or mobile forensics Remediate vulnerabilities that were identified in Project Type 1. Some student teams may be able to do both 1 and 2, but we've found that often, the remediation will need to be done by a future student cohort. Evaluate a company's existing Cybersecurity policy and propose updates that will bring the company in line with federal, state and industry mandates. In cases where a policy doesn't exist, our student teams can draft a policy for approval. Students in our cybersecurity Capstones complete a Master's level project dealing with a student's area of specialization in Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing or Enterprise Cybersecurity Management. The students will create an original project with practical applications using cybersecurity policy, regulatory, and testing frameworks. The project will integrate the concepts of cybersecurity and information assurance taught throughout the program. Project management techniques and collaboration will be emphasized along with the ethical and legal aspects of the project. Students will work on one main project over the course of three months, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in the BS in Manufacturing Design Engineering program acquire the theoretical foundations, hands-on experience, and teaming skills required for effective conceptual, logistical, developmental, and interdisciplinary design of complex engineering devices, product life cycles, and engineering systems through integration of state-of-the-art computer-aided tools, concurrent engineering standards, and simulation modeling techniques.

Do you have a complicated business problem or question that doesn't have an easy answer? Work with Capstone students from our Master of Science in Engineering Management program to get solution designs that can help move your company forward. Our students come to the program with an engineering background and choose to specialize in systems engineering or project management. This is an opportunity for our students to showcase and apply their academic knowledge in the business environment. Client companies will be presented with teams’ recommendations that will align the organizational systems with their core mission. These recommendations will address; the needs for enhancements to the systemic operating processes, measurable improvements to efficiency and effectiveness of core business systems, elimination or minimization of potential projects failures (delays, quality, scope, budget), use of technology-based solution where and when applicable.
