We are looking for a student to come aboard as our Office Coordinator with an interest in Membership Engagement to support our daily day to day tasks
You will undertake the following responsibilities within the membership realm:
- Achieve increased membership goals in the area of students and volunteers by building sustainable relationships with potential members in academic, corporate and social markets by consistently creating continued communication plans via social media outlets to achieve successful recruitment.
- Help coordinate the membership and volunteer recruitment strategy
- Assist in building a student and volunteer only section in WildApricot Member and Constant Contact software
- Provide research and compiling of membership opportunities and data
The General administration tasks would be around:
- Answer, screen and respond to inbound phone calls
- General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Handle requests for information and data including information booths and information sessions
- Resolve administrative problems and inquiries
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
- Prepare schedules for meetings and appointments
- Take and maintain minutes of meetings
- Submit reports and documents required by Government agencies
- Coordinate and manage webinars and virtual conferences
- Provide support to Board of Directors
Interns will have the opportunity to work directly with experts in their field.
