Chemical Engineering Co-op - Summer Semester

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Ryerson's Department of Chemical Engineering to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this versatile discipline that combines engineering principles and the sciences of chemistry, biology and physics, are poised to succeed in the integrated work areas of: environmental sustainability, water treatment, laboratory work, research projects, mathematical modeling, and computer simulations. Students are required to complete 350-560 hours between May to August . Our students are looking for exclusively paid co-op placements. As such, please only request to work with this program if your organization is able to offer paid opportunities. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually.

Occupational and Public Health Co-op - Summer & Fall 2022 Semester

Flexible

Bring on students from Ryerson University in the Occupational and Public Health Department to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed virtually. Occupational Health and Safety focuses on injury and disease prevention in the workplace. Students learn to control health risks including chemical, biological, and stress-related hazards which can come up from different occupations. Public Health and Safety focuses on injury and disease prevention. Students learn to anticipate, evaluate, and control health hazards. Promotion of health and safety awareness and enforcing laws that protect human health, and become involved in such issues as tobacco enforcement, pandemics, West Nile Virus, SARS, water quality, and food handling . Students are required to complete 280-420 hours between May to August or September to December . Looking for paid co-op placements only.
